[1000mp] RELAY INFO

I'm using an Ameritron AL-811, which is only about 500 watts out. After a 
year, no problems with no interface using a "Field". Maybe I've been lucky? 
In looking at the manual though, I've just gone direct and had no problems. 
Have I just been lucky, or is a direct connection ok?
