[1000mp] Jumpy clarifier repair - described

Whew--an ambitious job. I tried the drill-spinning fix and mine appears to
be better than before. I did the same with the MEM/VFO CH encoder, which was
also screwing up. Neither are now perfect, but are better, at least for a
while.
