[1000mp] VCO problem I think

Thanks to SM0KCO I found the write up on the VCO. I removed the solder from
the leads of the VCO coils and discovered that the enamel had NOT been
removed before YAESU soldered them. That and the lead free solder conspired
to cause a poor connection. While I had the board decided to change the
electrolytic capacitors. Found most were either open or very low
capacitance. All seems to be working fine now. Worked VP6DX on 5 bands so
far.

Subject: RE: [1000mp] VCO problem I think

A couple years ago I had a similar failure where I can no longer receive or
transmit on the following

10 Mhz, 14 Mhz, 18 Mhz and 21 Mhz.

I had some instructions from the reflector but I am at a loss where I put
them and can't find them on the server.

Could some one please direct me what or where.

Tnx
