[ACARSLogs] Important: ACARS Web Site Merger

Hi All:

The ACARSLink web site has been operated by Nick, Tony and I for over 5
years.  It has taken a lot of time to maintain but has been very rewarding
for all three of us. Unfortunately the time required to evolve the site has
become an issue for both Tony and I  and we can no longer invest the
appropriate time necessary to grow and improve ACARSLink.

We have approached Mark Avey to see if a merger between ACARSLink and
Acarsonline would be mutually beneficial. Mark agreed that a single source
for content would be a great idea and we have agreed on terms.

Effective immediately we will begin to merge the content of
www.ACARSLink.com into www.Acarsonline.co.uk . We don't expect the process
to take more than a couple of weeks (if that) at which point we will remove
the content from ACARSLink permanently. For a couple of months we will
retain re-direct pages on ACARSLink however I would suggest that everyone
begin to update any bookmarks to reflect the new locations as content is
moved across. We will send out an e-mail when the whole process is complete.

We are excited that Acarsonline will be hosting the content that has been
valuable to everyone for such a long time. While Tony and I probably won't
have the time to be directly involved in the site moving forward, Nick and
Mark are working on how they can work together to make Acarsonline the
single source for ACARS information.

For Nick , Tony and I, ACARSLink has been a lot of fun and a very rewarding
project. We have developed a great friendship that will continue long after
the site has gone. Our thanks go to everyone who contributed so much
information. We really appreciate the effort. Please continue to support the
hobby and Acarsonline.
