[Boatanchors] Ebay R-390A pricing???

Has the Collins produced version of the R-390A become this valuable or 
is this just more Ebay madness? Is there something special about this 
particular model?

Maybe I need to put a  dustcover over mine when not in use :)  Mine is a 
bit later serial number from the same production run with the same 
counter dial on the BFO AND it came with the original covers.  It is a 
neat radio but I wouldn't have paid anywhere close to where this auction 
is headed.
