[Boatanchors] 1N3033B substitute?

I have found what appears to be an out of spec zener diode in my bias
circuit. I am hoping this is my problem!
The zener should be 36V but this one is reading 26V. Part number is 1N3033B
but it looks like an obsolete part. I looked through mouser and found 1N473A
that looks promising, but before I buy, install and fry something - anyone
have an opinion?
Comparing the datasheets the differences are:
Test current (Iz)
original=7.5mA,
replacement=7mA
Max Reverse Leakage Current (Ir)
original= 10 uA @ 27.4V
replacement 5 uA @ 27.4V
I can't quite tell if the replacement is more "stout" than the original or
less stout?
I don't know if that extra .5mA of test current is important or if 5uA is a
"better spec" or under-rated comared to 10uA?
Is there a better or "official" substitute?
As always, very much appreciated!
