Hi Dave,

I think I remember a recent post about your T-599. If you can't find a
direct replacement for that dial skirt with the verier marks on it you
can make a replacement. The one on your transmitter is identical so you
have one that can be copied. If you still have the original and it has
been damaged you might be able to use as the form for your new vernier
dial face. Otherwise I would suggest using some of the free dial making
software to be found from members of these lists maybe on an old CD/CVD,
or some other form that will give you a headstart. You would win the
title of homwbrew king if you went outback and mined some bauxite,
smelted your own aluminum, roll a sheet and stamp out out the disk after
having hand made the stamping dies.

Let us know if you find a replacement. Somebody here can jump in with
info about downloading the dial templates for you to play with. They are
available for dials and meters. You get those and customize them for
your own use.
