[Boatanchors] More questions on the Select-O-Ject SAF-1

I looked at it more carefully, it does say SOJ in smudged ink on top of the stamped SAF-1 although I don't see a number. Looking on the web I see that there were three different ones, SOJ-1, SOJ-2 and SOJ-3 and the difference was in the wired socket. Can I assume that it will work with the HRO's since it came with one of them or can I do damage plugging it in to test it?
