Hi All,
This note is for all of you stalwart, die-hard 75-meters AM buffs...
You'll be happy to know that some of your signals are making it across the Atlantic, all the way to the QTH of John (GM7NVA) --- and in VERY FB fashion, too, no less...
***************************************************************
"...The '88' was on all last night (8pm - 4am) listening to some truly amazing signals off a group of USA 'AM' stations, just above 3.8 mHz. The band was in good shape and the '88' (on a K9AY loop) sucked up the strong signals like a dream. Turning back the RF and turning full on the AF made the signals sound like big broadcasters on a dead band with no qrn/m. No sunspots have brought around some very unique lo-band conditions. Even 160 was a treat here with some strong SSB."

Many thanks to all on 75-meters AM last night who helped make John's foray onto the band with his RCA AR-88 a rather memorable one...!
