the system apparently used?
****** CR88A (RL620L) was a "Component Radio" in DR89A,Diversity
Communication Receiver (this used three CR88A) and as such, was not fitted
with an individual "S" meter. In DR89A there was a Monitoring Unit which
"provides means for accurately tuning the component receivers" contained
three meters which indicated the instantaneous diode detector current of the
component receivers.
>Is the meter the same one used in AR-88's?
******** There was no meter fitted. However,an 88 meter (5 mA right hand
resting) could be fitted to an individual CR88A as per the standard 88 (or
88D) instructions. The original 88 meter was calibrated in "dB above 1
microvolt".
> Does anyone know of a picture of the same on the web?
