In the Drake 2B, pin 6 of the 6BE6 - the screen - is the anode for the
Hartley oscillator formed with G1 (pin 1), and the cathode (pin 2). RF is
inserted via G2 (pin 7). The product of the two signals appears at the
anode (pin 5). There is no direct oscillator output per say. The
oscillator modulates the electrons coming from the cathode. To check the
oscillator portion of the circuit for V3, V4, or V7, check the cathode (pin
2).
