This would be like the old telephone-type two and three position
switches that were mounted to a panel with one or two screws and had a
slot for the lever, right? At one point, I had a number of them which
I preferred for audio, low voltage and meter switching. Some were
mounted on metal plates about 1-1/2" by 3" (give or take a whisker or
two) that I think came from Navy transmitters. One of the neat
features of the switches was that it wasn't difficult to customize
them by adding or removing sections of the stacks which was made
easier by having some donor switches that had been damaged. By the
way, some had a cool, pull-to-operate setup so they couldn't be
accidently moved.
Since I'm in bitzenpieces gathering mode again, I'd like to acquire a
bunch of them again.
With those switches, I had a bunch of switchboard lamps, jacks and
some push-pull and push-button switches that fit the same holes as the
jacks. They'd be a nice addition as well.
Ah, well. Someday ...
Best regards,
Michael, WH7HG
