[Boatanchors] FS: lot of 26 DX QSL Cards 1950s

Well Carl,

There is no need to be judgmental about what people choose to collect.

I have an extensive collection of antique postcards that trace the history
of the small CT town I grew up in. A lot of money and 30 years collecting
them. As a history buff they have brought me great joy so I think your
snarky comment about foolishness is uncalled for

I also collect old radios as do you. Why is that any less foolish? Oh that's
right, you make money repairing those!!!!

I have a restored 1950 GMC truck, not unlike your old cars. Is that not
foolish? I burns a lot of gas, is uncomfortable and tricky to drive.

Some people will sell anything to make a buck and there will always be
someone foolish enough to buy some of it.

People pay a lot for antique postcards, too. Written to other people
by other people.

And you just gotta know Rob, that there are a lot of people out there
(even some hams) who routinely say:

"I just cannot believe that anyone would use or collect old radios.
What's the point? They've long been replaced by better technology"

Then there's that old addage "One man's trash is another man's treasure".

The incredible diversity of interests is quite fascinating to me. All
the sub-categories like keys, mics, tubes, etc. And that's just in
radio.
