[Boatanchors] 100 e-mails

I delete most emails from the lists to which I subscribe
without reading them.
For instance:
I automatically delete any emails concerning
National, Hammerlund or Hallicrafters ham rigs unread
because I have no interest in these brands.
No offense to those who love them;
it's a very big pie and there are slices for everyone.
Those just aren't mine, so more for you ;-).
I did, in fact, read all the "shuttle" and "startrek" posts
and did not suffer from this short,
enjoyable diversion into other "lands."
I can delete 100 uninteresting messages
in about 7 seconds.
If I open and read one I *say* I don't like,
what is my complaint?
"Off Topic" threads will "peter-out" on their own in,
at most, a few days if left alone. For my part, I find
an occasional diversion by people whom I respect
enjoyable. Complaining about them engenders even
more posts about them- like this one! ;-)
An old bit of wisdom: "Don't stir it and it won't stink."
