Hello Al,
It was great to see you as well. The Cary fest is a nice gathering and always enjoy seeing folks and yaking some. Yes, I got the 101A...it's a true boatanchor at 70 lbs. I kept going by it and finally I yielded to temptation. Needs a little work, but seems to hear on all bands. It's the non-160 model. Sounds like you did well too. It's good that you sold some and bought some...maybe a good balance..hi. Yep, the CX is coming and I'm looking forward to that event.
Tnx for the info on the mfr. dates.
Tnx also to Al Klase and Pete for their info...also good stuff....73 de Bill K4JYS

Hi Bill,
I don't remember a webpage, I've always used Moore's "Communications
Receivers" & Rippen's "Tube Type Transmitter Guide" to figure out
what's what for CX, etc. I'll look up stuff for you if you'd like, but
let us all know if there's a webpage. Nutha CX in abt 2 mo.s I guess.
Nice to see you last Sat. at Cary. I hear you ended up with that
SX-101. I don't remember the exact model, exc. that it didn't have
160m. I got an SP-600, pre-arranged dely, sold the RU-18's, a URM-25 &
some misc tubes & edebris.
