[Collins] KWS-1 Multimeter Labeling

I ran into an unusual (or so I thought) KWS-1 at a swap recently that had
the meter ranges for the multimeter labeled in what appeared to be factory
original lettering.

In addition to the 2000 volt range each position was labeled as to which
scale applied making it much easier to comprehend what was the correct
reading.

This KWS-1 was in the SN 1000 range, had the test key as standard and was
not a SAC or Navy unit. Is this as uncommon as I believe?
