Hmm, further more I would have assigned a group for each callsign.
Otherwise it becomes difficult to identify which call you made the QSO
with. If you want to look at France as a selection then just make a
selection/filter that contains the groups/callsigns you used in that
situation.
Its like this, if you have a group France you can never identify the
QSO's for "F/OH2BF" or "F5VJF" separately unless you put a unique
identifier in the "Notes for this QSO" perhaps. But if you have each
call in its own group and use the filter/selection editor you can select
view both "F/OH2BF" and "F5VJF" together and exclude the OH groups.

No you don't run out of groups if you use the same group for the same
contest each year. If you want to look at a specific year just apply a
date filter for the group.

I have made a selection called "OH DXCC" which contains all the calls
(groups) I have used in OH-land. While in France I made a selection
"France" containing my groups F/OH2BF and F5VJF etc.
Contests are OK but eventually you will run out of groups if you do it
for some time.
