Hello Paul & the Group:

Well Barnes MAP/ANGB is a controlled airport.  I was parked with 150 feet
of the tower.  I was not in the "stealth" mode, in fact I took the
magnamount monitor antenna out of the trunk & placed it right on the roof
when I got there.  The local PD came by once & didn't even slow down.
Perhaps there's more emphasis on this new law at passenger type airports.
I didn't see any signs that indicated this was against the law.  Of course
there is a chain link fence to the flightline area with appropriate warning
signs about only authorized personnel, etc....  BTW I also had binoculars
and looked directly at the control tower!!!!
