In Southern Cal., due to the large number of sites, they use all freqs,
172.825-172.975, and all 3 PL's (136.5, 146.2, and 156.7). I've also picked
up encryption on 169.350, which is the local input to 172.950.
I wasn't fast enough to put in the repeater and see if it was coming out, or
if someone else was on 169.350 coded. Has anyone else heard digital
encryption on FAA channels, or know if they're using the regular security
freq at airports? Ruff
