Yes, I knew the actual statements were taken out of context and mashed by
the press.  Unusual for a press that was generally kind to Bill & Al during
their stay....

I really am objective when it comes to politics and not taken by sound bites
and one-liners.

I am, however, not a fan of Al - or his partner in crime.  Nothing
personal - I'm just on the other side of center.

Al Gore did a disservice to himself by spending any time 'defending' and
explaining himself on this issue - even though it was the party missionaries
that did all the defending..

It is unfortunate that so many people make their voting decisions based on
the 11PM news on election eve.  We on this list are better informed, more
logical, and better citizens.
