Actually Chris, atleast for boston (Logan Int'l) they are using Commercial
Freq's.

460-465 Mhz, Normal ordinary, Airline Channels as well as some Rental Air
Time on FB6 systems from the Local Radio Shops.

Subject: [FedCom] TSA Radios

Anyone want to take a guess at possible freq's for the new TSA?

I have been travelling through a half-dozen or so airports in the last few
weeks since the Transportation Security Administration has started it's
operations at the security checkpoints. Through most of the cities I have
travelled, I have noticed that some of the TSA personnel are carrying what
appears to be new HT-750 UHF radios. I also spotted a base station radio
set to "F-11" with a UHF mag-mount antenna nearby. The radio type seems
very consistent wherever I have travelled, no matter what the local airport
is using for it's public safety communications systems. Also, not all TSA
security personnel seem to carry radios, probably only supervisors. I
haven't been able to catch anyone actually talking on the radios, so
operating frequencies remain elusive.

BTW - The TSA is part of the Department of Transportation, so there might
be a place to start...
