[FedCom] 282.425/Where Has Customs Gone?

Out here (SE Az & SW NM) Customs is still alive and well on their
"assigned" VHF freqs, although it is true that Nextel and/or Sprint has
relieved some of the burden on their aging repeater system.

282.425 (AM) has frequent traffic on it several times a week... both day
and night. Mostly it is indeed positions, eta's and such, but it does
lite-up with the occasional chase/pursuit/surveillance type activities.

120.325 (AM) also gets hits on it quasi-regularly, mostly during "joint
support" operations between Border Patrol and US Customs.
