As one who has possessed and used Tom Kneitel's directory for a few years, I
agree that it is a valuable resource. However it is limited in these areas:
1. It has not been revised since its last printing. Frequency information
can lose its value if it gets seriously out-of-date.
2. As seems to be usual in these directories, there is a marked emphasis on
the western United States, where frequency assignments vary significantly
from those of the correspondng agencies in the East.
3. It does not take into account the changes made especially by the Forest
Service in the east as reflected in new pairs and PL tones.
This is a good book-but it should be bought with the knowledge that much of
what is in it has changed.

My first post to FedCom, just couldn't let it paqss.
