  I'am a reader of Monitoring Times.
My question pertains to NEXTEL.  Since Federal Law Enforcement/Mil uses
the NEXTEL system; can the NEXTEL freqs. be monitored utilizing a trunk
tracking scanner or a regular scanner.  Or is NEXTEL encrypted and use
spread spectrum.
