Customs still using all regular freqs in Border Area's, including the
aircraft UHF/VHF. They may be on 170.0625 R, somebody is, with OTAR.
All FBI and BP traffic is on the new Justice VHF, and they do use more and
more oddball freqs like 172.020, and a controller on 165.270. They tend to
have repeaters just above or below inputs (170.9625 R, 170.95 I, to another
group, 173.450 R, 173.4625 I, 173.475 R, 173.1625 and .1875 R,
173.175 I, etc.) I now hear FBI digital on almost 95% of the 167's, .25
splits, and alot of 171's (12.5 splits from .3375-.6375). I have heard no
USSS traffic or IRS UHF traffic in almost a year, however. Also getting a
strong repeater lately that keeps keying up on 415.875, PL 91.5, but it may
be ham image or Mexico. FBI also using channels that Mexico has been on for
years (167.350 and 171.175) and blowing them out of the water with digital.
