Does anyone know the input for the Postal Inspector repeater somewhere in
SoCal on 419.325? They're using HIDTA freqs for all kinds off stuff...419.4
(normal input to 414.475) is simplex, and 414.475 has touch-tone dialing on
it, using various PL's, I'm told to move and angle thr border cameras. A
Navy ship repeater came up for a day with a 100.0 PL before they were
silenced. I believe 414.350 is now a Pendleton input, but I'm not sure.
414.250 is. If anyone knows the LA HIDTA sites, please advise. 414.5 is by
the Hollywood sign. 412.125 is the strongest here in San Diego, followed by
414.5, 414.475, and rarely, 414.550. I've never heard 412.000 or 414.450 so
I assume they're up North. The simplex HIDTA's are used sporadically. Never
have figured out who was encrypted on 414.1 or 412.55, the latter is
probably an FBI link. 414.275 repeats 419.225 off Mt Laguna, the 419.225
sites being Vista and El Centro, so this effectively links SD and Imperial
counties. It can also be selected to repeat other channels, it usually seems
to be set to repeat CH4 also. I believe 419.350 is one half of the FBI link
to one of the desert repeaters on either 171.175, 170.9, or 170.350. In
addition to being desert inputs, 164.6 and 165.5625 are in the C group
simplex. 168.925 is either an input or simplex with rare use. All fer
now/Ruff
