I was curious- The D-block of FBI channels is supposed to be national.
D7 is listed as 163.100, DOE/FBI common. Has anyone ever heard anything on
this? I still have heavy base/mobile encrypted simplex traffic on 164.375,
which I think is a Border Patrol Tac, but almost everywhere else I've ever
seen it it's DOE, except the North L.A. Co. desert area, where it was an FBI
repeater (F7). Has anyone anywhere else heard the FBI on that one? The
SENECA Justice channels I've listed previously with multiple digital outlets
are referred to as SDC-1 (inputs 173.4625 and 162.950) and SDC-2 (inputs
162.975 and 173.6625). The BP ASU repeaters now seem to have a 166.950
input, with outputs on 165.975 (L.A.), 170.725 (Border-Mt Miguel or Otay),
and 168.875, the old input, location unknown. Other than SDC-1 & 2 outputs,
173.975 (REALLY wish I could find this input) and 172.4 (input 171.5125),
are the busiest.
The radio techs on 170.675 went coded after I published. I've also noticed
if one freq (say 170.350) is being used, the one next to it (170.3625) is
also. One will be a repeater input, the other a different repeater outlet.
All IRS traffic on UHF has gone silent, but the old VHF (165.950) keeps
keying up, probably from Mex interference, they might have to change the
input (167.0). Ruff
