They have had Astro equipment since approximately 1994.  Interestingly,
they only bought the mobile units!!!!!  No base stations.  I guess they
are finally finding the money to put in the repeaters.  It would be
interesting to purchase one of the new Uniden APCO-25 capable scanners
and see if you can hear them.
