FYI- I haven't heard any traffic on any of the FAA freqs, 172.150 or
172.825-.975. If they're being used at the San Diego airport, they're
simplex low-power. Maybe someone closer to Lindbergh in San Diego can tell
us. Also- When I lived in Jamul on the Mountain, I got digital on 169.350,
which is the input to the FAA La Jolla repeater. I did not hear anything on
the output. This freq is used simplex by the BLM cops in the desert and
that's probably what I heard.
Does anyone know if the BLM Law units out of San Bernardino are still on
the same freqs, and are they now digital? I can only pick up the Laguna
Repeater on 166.750 on good days, and I haven't heard them in a LONG time.
Here's what I had for BLM Law, other than that repeater:
166.2625 TAC
166.9375 TAC
172.725 RPT in San B desert
172.575 TAC
417.575 R called "discrete", a UHF link for one of the above freqs, heard up
in the Angeles Mountains.
