Hi Ruff,

165 freq has been in scanner forever here, no joy. Have had all listed
USCG and Customs UHF freqs in, very little activity other than 282.425 which is
used secondarily by CG jets. 157.075 is used by C-130's from AIRSTA
Clearwater for maintenance write-ups. 164.775 is used by marine customs units with
165.975 input. 164.9625 is a good VA Hospital freq among other things, here it
seems to be a downlink for radar data from CUSTOMS a/c. Always starts with
bursts whenever a Customs P-3 or similar bird is around. 166.4625 is still used
for aerial surveillance of land traffic. 165.2375 is still primary customs
with 166.4375 as input.
Many times you'll hear references on 282 to the '101' network, presumably
sattelite and possibly why so little activity on UHF. This has been going on
for several years, lately there is also a '401' net used.
Also the COTHERN is used by CG as well as customs units. 5277, 5841 and
7657 are still used by OPBAT along with the COTHERN.
Hope this makes sense. Have loaded tons of customs freqs over the years,
this is about it. Now, this coast does seem a bit quieter than the east coast /
Miami area. 165,5875 is busy over there with ALFA units along with the other
freqs, the action seems to go on constantly.

      Best,
