Well, really not in my back yard (100+ miles), but again it appears that
only military folks, and perhaps limited Civil Air Patrol units are using
these freqs.
Would be interested to find out who's been purchasing the radio units other
than military units.. Again I'm very skeptical that other federal
agencies/departments are buying these units.

was allowed the privilege of examining one once. Camp Edwards and Fort
Devens USMC and Navy units use them in the field. From my observations they
are also extensively used with headsets of some sort on the combat litter
course at Devens.
