Agreed! I would just like the ability to apply a NAC to a channel as an
option, just like a PL or DPL tone. Of course, having the scanner able to=
"read" a NAC off a digital channel would be great, too!
Also, Jim mentioned that the Butel software offered a "Resume scan on
encrypted digital" option. Is that a feature of the software or the
BC-796D? I personally would like to have the option of at least muting th=
e
encrypted P-25 transmissions, but still want to have some indication that=
someone is using the frequency, even it encrypted (traffic analysis!).
