Re: Finding Fed digital freqs
For some reason, the fed P-25 freqs (and not all of them, but definitely a
majority) here in San Diego have a tone on them. I have to turn the squelch
up to get rid of it. The closer the repeater the stronger the tone. They
have re-split the 162-174 band and are using many 12.5 splits not in use
before, and .25 splits that were not used. Examples: 173.975, 172.2875,
172.3125, 172.5125, 171.5125, 171.5375, 173.425, 173.450 (main Border Patrol
channel) 173.475, and on and on.
