I must have deleted the original post on this thread, but to dispel any
misinformation that might be going around. If a LIMA unit was heard on
165.2375 (which is in fact the US Customs Nationwide A1/A2 channel) it is an
air asset, not FBI or other agency operating on the Customs repeater. LIMA
units are confirmed bases and aircraft assigned to the Office of Enforcement
while operating on VHF frequencies. They will often correspond with their
OMAHA calls on HF and UHF. (ie. OMAHA 549 works HAMMER on COTHEN HF
11.494MHz, while calls SECTOR on 165.2375MHz as LIMA 549). To add to this,
while operating out of any US military air base the call changes again to
SIERRA. (ie. Navy JAX this is Sierra 42 CHARLIE SIERRA on final) By the
way, LIMA 560 is a Beech A200, registration # N1560, serial # BC-09.
