Your anger and defensiveness are quite evident.  I certainly do not agree
with what Scott (aka Ruff) posted.  I also do not believe this was the
correct forum to use to pos this theory.  God knows what other sites he may
visit.  I don't know.  Why would you think that I don't love this country?
Enough is enough!  Now you are going too far.

only mask his 'typical' attitudes.

Freedom of speech is an important right. However, it is not a license to say
anything anyone wants about anyone or anything. It does not allow for racist
remarks, but it does allow for obscenity. That in itself violates the
freedom of
speech you are promoting. Freedom is NOT a restriction free, responsibility
free
or legal right to bad mouth whomever or whatever strikes you at the moment.
With
all forms of freedom there comes some level of accountability and
responsibility
for ones actions and/or words. When all rules are thrown aside, mankind has
aptly proven counteless times over recorded history that he is not capable
of
conducting himself in a manner befitting a supposed higher life form.

As someone said, "Your freedom ends where my nose begins." Freedom is a
wonderful quality. But abusing it, and then claiming protection through the
freedom of speech, is a cop out for cowards.

Anyone can have a bad day and say things they should not. However, when one
consciously posts it for public view knowing full well what the consequences
of
said action will be, that is not excusable. That is an indication of
underlying
psychological disturbances that need professional treatment. Psychologists
tend
to excuse bad behavior with all sorts of rationalizations, I know, I major
in
Psychology at the University of Michigan. Rationalization is one thing,
reality
can be quite another.

You may excuse his conduct, that is your choice. As far as I am concerned,
if
you do not like this country, the exit sign is that way -  You are free to
leave. Nobody is forcing you to remain here. Do us a favor, leave.

Freedom of speech and expression are still rights that we enjoy as
Americans.  As I previously noted, that response from Ruff was atypical for
him.  What prompted such a theory/analysis eludes all of us except the
author.  You, I, and all of us have the right to disagree, but I,
personally, would not brand him "a sick and disturbed person."  There has
been no such pattern of similar posts and he has shared valuable information
with all of us.  I strongly disagree with him on this, but he had the
fortitude to say what few (?) some (?) many (?) others, including him,
believe in total or part.

Ruff, not his real name, should be removed from this list, permanently. His
comments are those of a sick and disturbed person. They do not belong on
this
forum and I am not so sure he belongs loose on the streets. Fortunately
there
are governmental officials who monitor this list, as well as many others,
perhaps one of them will throw a net over him. Anyone who suggests what he
suggests is worthless, except as fertilizer, and even that is of
questionable
value.

Ruff, Bob and All,
I have always respected Ruff for his expertise, thorough research and
excellent posts on fedcom.  After 33 years, I recently retired from
government work where I was a forensic psychologist for numerous LE
agencies, both local, state and federal.  Although, Ruff, I truly hope that
you are incorrect with your analysis, I have had too much experience with
individuals and agencies at the federal level to blatantly say that your
comments are bizarre.  Absolutely nothing that is initiated out of
Washington, D.C. would surprise me. I cannot speak for any other subscriber,
but your comments did catch me off guard and seemed atypical of your usual
posts.  So to the extent that I do not share your beliefs and analysis on
this matter, I do, however, respect to right to speak openly. Take care, my
friend.

Ruff,  I must say I'm impressed with your knowledge of Federal Radio Systems
and frequencies.  You are one of the strong supporters of Fed COM and keep
it
interesting.  I hope I am missing your point in the inclosed statement.  It
sounds as though you are implying that our government perpetrated or allowed
the attacks you list.  If that is what you are saying, I'm afraid your
creditablity has, in my opinion, dropped.  If you really believe this then I
must conclude you are probably a member of an anti- US Government Network.
Maybe this is how you became so knowledgeable on Federal Government Sytems.
  I thought your interest in government radio was because it was your hobby.
  Now I'm concerned that you and the rest of your agents might be spies ,
subversives, or (heaven forbid) terrorists.
