Yes, 143.700 is a MARS Frequency however this is a Link Channel, used to =
link the Various Repeaters in the 148-150 Mhz Range throught New =
England.   Anyone with Sites and FREQ/PL's, Please post.

The One you are hearing is=20
Sudbury at 148.3750 Mhz

  Hello all.

  From Holliston, MA, I've been hearing 143.7 all morning. Seems like
  a Navy MARS frequency and guys discussing various items.

  Have also picked up Forest Service on 170.125, with comms in the
  evening hours. Using Boston designators with radio checks.
