Thanks for the reply. Yea 138-144 really went hot in my area after 9/11. =
We
had the normal F-16 comms from the local ANG units and a few other well
known freqs. But then after a couple of months they started swinging in
other units from out of the area because they were flying the crap out =
of
the local guys. So if a person did not have a scanner dedicated to =
searching
freq ranges they were behind the ball. =20
I may go ahead and plan to work 148-150.5 next. I'll start looking into =
it a
little and put together a little collection of bookmarks to help me id =
some
of the stuff I run into. I figure it's going to be a lot different than
working the normal MILAIR freqs if for no other reason than I am not =
used to
the agencies involved. Most of the websites I have book marked don't =
tend to
have much info other than for 138-144 and 225-400. =20
If you know of any "reasonably" reliable websites to use as reference
resources, I'd certainly appreciate if you could forward them. I'll =
piddle
around tonight and do some searching and start to familiarize myself =
with
what's out there. My biggest problem is that I will not identify a freq
until I have listened to it long enough to confirm its usage. I have a =
few
freqs I have been working on for over a month and have a hard time =
nailing.=20
