Hello Mr. Jordan and all,
While we see some HQ I must respectfully disagree Jordan that HQ is the
reason for a drop off in CAP comms. The reason CAP comms have dropped off is
because no one was flying CAP until last week when the Orange Alert was
issued. Almost immediately I received reports from several parts of the
country showing the guys back up were they left off on NORAD freqs. We had a
CAP that was over ATL the entire weekend for the NBA All Star show and never
once did I see any HQ in use. We have had some HQ today reported in east amd
central NC but it is not associated with any known NORAD CAP activity.
When they fly CAPs they are usually in the clear and no HQ as of late.
