[FedCom] Trying to decide a good freq range to work next

OK
I understand a little more clearly now. I misunderstood what you were
saying; I thought you meant they were using HQ for about everything
including Chit Chat. My mistake, I have been married too long; listening
abilities are shot, just ask the wife. :-) I just thought you left cost
folks did everything different. Like I said, here on the other coast, =
over
DC anyway, they do the quick hookup when first coming on station. Then 9
times out of 10 you won't hear HQ mentioned again until the next flight
comes to take the CAP.
I found it interesting to listen to the CAP flights when they first got
going. But after a while it got so routine it was boring. You know =
things
were bad for the pilots as well because they would get exited when it =
came
time to go to the tanker because they actually got to make a right hand =
turn
as opposed to the left hand turns needed to maintain the CAP pattern. =
Ain't
it great knowing that people get bored doing the things I have dreamed
about.
Anyway, does anyone know of any "reasonably" decent websites for me to
bookmark as possible reference tools for Govt. Comms? I have a pile of =
them
for Mil Air but don't know enough about what I am looking at on the =
Govt.
Side to tell if a particular web page has decent information on this =
stuff
or not
