Should be some land-mobile comms regarding these missile batteries, or maybe
on the MDW trunked system? In the "old days" of Nike and Hawk batteries
around the U.S., they had several FM channels in the 138-144 and 148-150.9
milcom bands and gave regular roll-calls, status reports and security
checks. With the mobile radar platforms also in place, I'm sure they have
some kind of control point or Air Route Traffic Control Center link with
other military units and the FAA...maybe even with WHCA and the Secret
Service.
