The Naval Observatory (home of the Vice Pres) uses that freq for security.
Could that be it? Input should be 140.300.
Who are the CMAA guys?

Subject: [FedCom] 143.7
Folks,
In Southern MD I am hearing a very busy 143.7 Mhz in FM. Trouble is, it is
encrypted almost 24/7. The only time it goes unencrypted is at 0500 EST when
I hear someone come up and state that the south gate is now open.
I work at Patuxent NAS as security and have a good feel for the comms there
and listen to the CMAA's guys guarding the gates on the Pax Trunked system
which is 400 Mhz. So needless to say I don't think it's from PAX.
I also have a good feel it is not from Webster Field (NESEA) either as it is
just down the road from me and the comms seem a little to weak for that one
to fly.
Anybody have any thoughts on this one?
