Looking through some stuff I found Wackenhut Security licensed for 806.000
in San Diego, I'm assuming it's the private prison. They also show up on
484.1875 in NorCal, and 464.5, which is kinda a low-power anyone-can-use-it
type freq. Anyone know any others?
Also- Anyone know the HIDTA repeater locations in SoCal. The only one I can
(barely) receive is HIDTA-9. I didn't think any were in San Diego Co., and
this was kind of confirmed, as they were using the input simplex as usual as
it is SD regular CH8. The only other ones I picked up when I lived on the
Mountain in Jamul (in order of strength) were HIDTA-10, 2 (Hollywood), and 1
(unknown).
I also heard a strong repeater in Orange or Riverside on 419.5 which ID'd
as LA CH9, and I could just barely pick one up on 418.925. The Red Mountain
repeater in Ventura was loud & clear repeating the CH6 input (416.200) on
417.650, with some weird data along with each tx. It seems 419.5 was
repeating a regular input (417.075/CH7 ??) but I can't remember which one,
and I no longer get any of them. Has anyone else noticed use of HIDTA inputs
as simplex channels?? If you plug 'em in you might be surprised. They're
using alot of freqs between 417.075-.550 back east,
and also anything from 419.200-.525 IS DEA. The xxx.xxx repeater I'm hearing
(or should say heard) the spanish on is definitely down in Mex. (Rosarita
Beach area?). Any locations would help. Also I'm told the 418.925 R has an
input of 416.3625. Is 417.750 still in use around here? Ruff
