Hi,

I've been on the list for quite a while now and see a recurring ambiguity on
this and many other lists as well...I have no intention of addressing any
individual nor any particular group...I have done the following myself, and
find some of my posts quite confusing when I go back and read them today.

The problem:  too many pronouns.  When posting a location-sensitive post,
please include your location.  A post similar to "full quieting here" or
"hearing surveillance nearby" does most of us no good, as we don't know
where you are.  Some email ISP's can be tracked to a city, but a huge number
of emails are via national providers, leaving us in the dark.  I realize
many if not all of us have good reason to keep our addresses to ourselves,
scanners or not, but a general indication of location would be helpful.
