Tom

Can you get another picture with a closeup of the antennas? From what I can
see of them, the yagis appear to be horizontally polarized. Hard to tell as
a lot is lost in the detail as I blow the picture up. In any event, it does
not appear to be amateur as those kind of mast setups for portable operation
do not come at low cost. More than I can afford as a ham. It could
possibly be what is known in the cellular and PCS world as a COW or cell on
wheels. Without getting a closer look at the antennas it is hard to tell.
See if you can get close to it with a frequency counter and catch anything.

Gentlemen:

This and an identical van are presently parked in a fenced in field near my
home in S. La. There was one van yesterday. Today there are two.

Anyone recognize the mission of this van?

What's next, black helicopters?

I'm guessing this would be a bad time to fire up a pirate transmitter!
