Better than a fat head! I'm noticing all my DOJ repeaters seem to have a
minimum of 2 outputs.
167.350 and 167.825 are paired, as are 169.6375 and 170.0625, which seem to
be Customs tac's, or Homeland Tac's dealing with the coast.
I know Customs has been reported on alot of 169's in various places.
I've seen 169.5375,.5625,and .4125 (Atlanta) in addition to the main
channels of 169.550 (LAX - airport, and several others, this seems to be the
airport inspectors channel). In Los Angeles it's CHARLIE-2 repeat, CHARLIE
-1 direct. Anywhere else? ALLIANCE still 171.075/169.450 R with some
exceptions (such as Black mountain here in the desert- 169.900). If anyone
has an updated Customs channel list I'd be interested, especially in new
12.5 splits. I've heard somewhere (AZ ?) they're using 163.225. Can anyone
advise where & what channel? Also, all traffic seems to have dropped off
165.4375 and I don't know what channel the simplex is anymore.
165.4625, .4875, and .5125 are all open here. I did hear A2 traffic one
time, when propagation was outstanding, on 165.4875. Does anyone know where
this is? It would probably be North of L.A., maybe Red Mountain in Ventura
or Frazier Peak in (Kern Co.??).
     All for now/ Ruff
