[FedCom] a couple of things...

OK- I just noticed my hotmail was on exclusive, so I may have missed
personal e-mail, fyi, reset it.
Secondly, ATF tactical channels very busy yesterday/ 100% digital.
Started off on 165.9125 (normal Tac), then later had lots of (also simplex &
close) on 173.8875, which is very unusual, that channel is hardly ever used.
On a funny note, about 8 years ago I heard what I thought was ATF traffic on
165.350. Well, it was an old bearcat scanner, and it turned out to be a
military image freq, but it's just amazing how many people have that on
their list, as "local office".
I guess it shows how much we all look for freqs and add them to our personal
lists...so if you had that one, scuttle it.
Also, still wish I knew who was using 166.6375 DD (digital/direct).
It gets quite busy at times.
I saw 170.0625 on someone else's list, (sorry, forget who...) as being
used by Prisons in Indiana or Ohio?? That's one of my digitals so that may
be who that is. The 171.5125/172.400 DR (digital repeater) is REALLY busy,
24/7, I figure it's a primary Border Patrol, along with
166.350/168.500 DR CH.A6.
Since I am apparently being used to plug holes in the system (not
paranoia, just fact), everybody's comsec is pretty good. (You think...HA).
USCG very busy, coded, Tac's 1 & 2 & 171.3375.
Does anyone know the location of HIDTA 414.475 repeater in Southern Cal?
Sierra or Santiago Peaks, maybe???
Remember to search in .5's, oddball stuff can show up anywhere (like here,
172.020 DR, and 165.270, controller for Justice. Their 4-channel UHF trunked
busy also:
408.300
411.025
412.575
414.125
(San Diego)- still looking for inputs, users unknown.
Also looking for CONFIRMED Coast Guard aircraft, other than 381.7 & .8,
especially VHF.
You guys (& gals) are great, please submit unusual stuff, IF it won't
compromise anything bad, I think that y'all know what that would be.
Remember, if you post a clear-traffic message to the list, the odds are
you'll lose it the next day, they'll either go coded or switch freqs. (Oh,
and a special thanks to those who made sure the list is monitored, if it
wasn't already)
   Have a great day! Scott
