A Major change in the Northeast is that the Local Dispatch centers are =
being

closed down and consolidated on a Regional Basis. Not unlike what =
Customs

did when Sector(s) were closed and moved to Orlando FLA, look for the =
FPS to

have 4 MegaCenters.

There was talk of the National Park Service, at least in Mass, =
consolidating
dispatch to a facility in Boston. This was a solid rumor around Ten =
Years
ago. Has it been done anywhere?

One of the Repeater(s) was in Milton on Great Blue Hill with Multiple =
CTCSS

tones.

Another was in Woburn and the other was Downtown Boston.

And back in the 70's there was one out in the North Central Mass town of
Fitchburg. I don't remember what agency was out there, I remember going =
out
to work on it and wondering why they had a system for what was maybe a
10,000 Square foot building.
