After a few hours of listening I was able to figure out the what and
where's of this apparent DEA drug bust . A customs aircraft flew
cover for the DEA ground units who watched 3 men ( with an apparent
agent inside the group) buy 29 kilos of cocaine from a drug dealer
located on a farm south of Vega Texas.

I can tell you all this because it has already been broadcast on the
local news.

What was interesting during the surveillance of the raid, the drug
dealers in question even spotted the circling aircraft and went on (
in full view) loading the drugs into the back of a car. No one ever
said criminals were smart.

When the car left the scene it was pulled over by Texas DPS and three
men were booked into the Oldham County jail on possessionof cocaine
with the intent to sale charges.

All communications were made in the clear with air-to-ground comms
taking place on 418.750 and the Customs aircraft relaying
information to units beyond line of site on 418.900.
