[FedCom] New Digital Scanners

I have a question for Fedcom-mers.I live south of Boston
and occasionally get up into the city. I noticed that a 
particular Agency on the 418.xxx seems to sound 
a bit different than I remember.
Does anyone know if the new digital scanners with 
the APCO-25 card work on "clearing" things up..Jeff
