One place to begin is this site:

http://tfr.faa.gov/tfr/jsp/tfrmap.jsp?action=layers&ims_service=tfr_conus
&minx=-2500000.0&maxx=2400000.0&miny=-1869411.76470588&maxy=1589411.76470
588&lcenters=on

I know that the link is of huge length, I originally had to "copy &
paste" to notepad, reconstruct it, and then enter it into the browser,
however, it is worth it.

This site gives you access to all of the TRF's (temporary flight
restrictions) across the US. From this site, you can look at either the
air traffic control centers or the individual state. From there you can
see the various TFR's for your area of interest.

The reason you want to look at the TFR's is that 99% of the time, the
posted frequency (in the specific TFR) is the air-air freq in use for
that fire. If you monitor that freq (assuming your close enough to the
fire) you can gather some/most of the other freqs in use! It may take
some time so be patient.

Here are a few possible freqs to look at, no guaranties, but I have heard
fire traffic on these:

168.6250 Air Guard

168.0500 Tac "Div. A"
168.2000 Tac "Div. B"
